Pumpkin Carving, Halloween, and Puzzle Time

The past few weeks have been a lot of fun!  Benjamin carved pumpkins for the first time.  It was so fun to see his reaction when he was cleaning out the pumpkin guts and seeds; he was such a champ and ended up loving it!  We went to the Boo at the Zoo and had a blast!  Benjamin loves going to the zoo and it was fun to see him run around and he loved getting candy.  Then the last Halloween activity was actual trick-or-treating.  He was so into it this year and went up to each door and said "trick-or-treat"!  He ended up with tons of candy, which is still sitting in his basket :)

Samantha is officially 6 months old.  I know I say this alot, but I can't believe that she is already 6 months.  She has learned a few more tricks this past month.  She is now sitting up on her own, starting to get up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth, scoots all around or rolls around, and is loving food.  She loves oatmeal, sweet potatoes, bananas, and peaches.  She continues to be incredibly laid back and a fairly happy baby.  Samantha loves watching her brother and they continue to entertain each other!

Here are some fun pictures from the past few weeks....

This was hysterical this past Saturday.  We put Samantha in the jumperoo and then Benjamin moved the exersaucer out of the guest room, placed it right by Samantha and then climbed in.  They "talked" to each other for about 10 minutes.  It was such a sweet moment between the 2.  I really try to appreciate these moments because I know they won't last forever!
