The Most Magical Place On Earth....Disney World!!!

We made the treck down to Florida in mid-July.  We got a little nervous the night before we were leaving because Benjamin had spiked a terrible fever and we had no idea what was going on.  He ended up with a little flu bug and woke up the morning of the flight perfect!  We were all relieved and we headed off to Orlando.  Luke won a trip for the family through work and we are all so grateful for this experience!  We took the kids to Disney World one of the days down there.  I had never been before, so it was just as exciting for me as it was for the kids.  Benjamin was absolutely mesmerized that these characters were "real"!  To see the look on his face was what the entire trip was about.  Samantha was intrigued, but had absolutely no idea what was going on.  We stayed on Universal Studios' property so we went over to the City Walk and saw lots of really cool stuff the other days we were down there.  Benjamin had a blast in the water fountains.  Overall the trip was incredible!  Mom and dad were a little exhausted, but it was all well worth it.  Here are a bunch of pics from the trip!

Samantha is 1!

Samantha turned the big #1 on May 12th!  It is so hard to believe that our little girl is already 1 years old.  It honestly feels like we just brought her home from the hospital.  We have had such a great year with her and she continues to bring so much joy into our lives.  It does amaze me how different her and Benjamin's personalities are.  Samantha is incredibly persistent and she will make herself heard.  She does not take "no" for an answer from anybody.  She is not afraid of her brother and will battle back, which is hysterical.  She does not sleep as much as Benjamin did and we have just come to accept that each and everyday we will be up by 6:30ish.  She loves the outdoors and wants to try anything that her older brother does.

She is a little smaller than her brother was at a year.  She was in the 75th percentile on weight, height, and head circumference.  Her brother was in the 95th at a year.  Her hair is finally coming and it is incredibly bleached from the sun this summer.

Here are a few pictures from her 1st birthday party!  We were able to celebrate with family, which is such a blessing.
